Make your own felt play mat!
This is a great idea and the possibilities are endless. Krista at
While He Was Napping created a fun, cheap and easy play mat with little
more than felt and a glue gun.
She started with layering the felt and drawing the roads...
to get the full design.....
and then a cut, a flip and some glue.....
and you're done!
Krista makes it look so easy! She has a great step-by-step full tutorial.
These would make great gifts by personalizing the houses and stores, "Conner's Construction," "Brianna's Bakery." Make one for each of your kids, they could have their own neighborhoods! Anymore ideas?
So drive on over to While He Was Napping -
and don't forget your glue gun!

Hey, you missed the part where I mentioned the bulletin board was 40% off and just $89! :) I'm not paying $150 for a BB either. lol

I think there are so many possibilities with this - a city, a farm, a construction site, an airport, a park.... have fun!
